County EMA News...
Storm Spotter classes will be held at the Huntsville Jaycees Bldg located off Airport Rd. west of Memorial Parkway on March 25th. A class will be offered at 1PM and a repeat class will be offered at 6:30PM for those that work during the daytime. The class is free to the public and normally take 2 hours.
The next test of the outdoor
warning siren system is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th at noon, weather permitting.
Look for information on Madison County Be Ready Family in the coming months. It is a program designed to recognize families that have prepared for disaster.
CERT class 21 graduates on May 20th at the Huntsville Fire Academy.
The next CERT class registration is still open. Class will be scheduled for July thru August on Tuesday evenings.
We now have a total of 353 Community Emergency Response Team graduates!
