Bulky Waste Collection

Collection Schedule Guidelines Fees

Bulky waste collection is the collection of large tree limbs, furniture, appliances, or any other single item or items that cannot fit into a container.

Schedule

Bulky waste is collected once per week, usually the same day as other containerized trash or yard waste. Exceptions may occur during spring or summer months, or after a storm or other natural disaster involving downed trees.

Maps, Schedules & Holidays

Guidelines

Following are the collection guidelines that must be met in order to insure collection of your bulky waste:

Place debris at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your trash or yard waste collection day.

Place debris away from obstructions such as mailboxes, utility poles, or parked cars.

Debris must NOT contain material such as rocks, dirt, shingles, bricks, concrete, or any material resulting from land clearing or a contractor's work.

Cut tree limb lengths not exceeding five feet.

Appliances must have doors removed.

Fees

There is no fee for the collection of bulky waste with the exception of tree limbs. The first 10 cubic yards of tree limbs is collected free of charge, with each additional five cubic yards costing $45 per collection.

Our Customer Service Representatives estimate cost for the collection of tree limbs in excess of 10 cubic yards.

Street Sweeping

The City's street sweeping program encompasses only arterial roadways, not residential streets. Arterial roadways are swept an average of 12 times per year.
