Bulky waste collection
is the collection of large tree limbs, furniture, appliances, or any other single item or items
that cannot fit into a container.
Schedule
Bulky waste is collected once per week, usually the same day as other containerized
trash or yard waste. Exceptions may occur during spring or summer months, or after a storm or
other natural disaster involving downed trees.

Guidelines
Following are the collection guidelines that must be met in order to insure
collection of your bulky waste:
Place debris at the curb by 7:00 a.m.
on your trash or yard waste collection day.
Place debris away from obstructions such as mailboxes, utility poles, or parked
cars.
Debris must NOT contain material such as rocks, dirt, shingles, bricks, concrete,
or any material resulting from land clearing or a contractor's work.
Cut tree limb lengths not exceeding five feet.
Appliances must have doors removed.

Fees
There is no fee for the collection of bulky waste with the exception of tree
limbs. The first 10 cubic yards of tree limbs is collected free of
charge, with each additional five cubic yards costing $45
per collection.
Our Customer Service Representatives estimate cost for the collection of tree limbs in excess
of 10 cubic yards.
Street Sweeping
The City's street sweeping program encompasses only arterial roadways, not
residential streets. Arterial roadways are swept an average of 12 times per year.
