The Sanitation Division is charged with the responsibility of providing garbage collection to residential and commercial solid waste customers. It is also responsible for the collection of trash and yard waste, recycling services and bulky waste for Huntsville's 50,000+ residential solid waste customers.
Solid Waste Disposal Authority Schedule for Labor Day week
September 4 1st Saturday household hazardous waste collection will be rescheduled. It will be held on September 11.
Huntsville Waste to Energy Facility will be open, 7 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.
September 6 Huntsville Waste to Energy Facility will be closed.
Huntsville Landfill will be closed.
