Spring Branch WWTP

The Spring Branch WWTP serves the central, downtown area of Huntsville.  The service area is split by Memorial Parkway.  It extends from just below Bob Wade Lane on the northern end to Weatherly Road on the southern end.

The original Spring Branch WWTP was constructed in 1960.
Improvement projects were constructed in 1989 and 1996.

The facility has the capacity to treat 41 million gallons per day (MGD) of Huntsville's wastewater.  It is the largest of Huntsville's six (6) wastewater treatment facilities.
