We have lots of regularly scheduled events here at Huntsville Animal Services. Please call for
confirmation.
Monthly:
We usually do an off-site adoption at PetSmart on Carl T. Jones Drive in Jones Valley the
4th Saturday of each month. Please call the shelter to find out about
current events.
Other events:
3rd Wednesday – Offender’s Program P.A.W.S. 1-3 (Public Welcome)
This is a class about the shelter, who we are, what we do, & the
importance of the animal laws in our community.
Weekly:
Thursday Mornings – Radio appearance @ WAHR Star 99 between 8:30 & 9:00 a.m.
Friday evenings – Pet Project, Channel 31, WAAY 6:00 during 6:00 newscast.
Miscellaneous:
We also have special events, such as “Operation Identification”, “Tag
Day”, “Open House & Adopt-A-Thon”, “Homeless Animals Day”. We
have other animal awareness campaigns, such as “Bite Prevention
Week”, “Adopt a Shelter Cat Month”, “Adopt a Shelter Dog Month”,
just to name a few!
