Fire Safety and Prevention Expo Begins This Week

 

Huntsville, Alabama (October 9, 2007) Huntsville Fire and Rescue Chief Danny Loggins announced today the Fire Safety and Prevention Expo begins today and runs through October 13, 2007. Loggins said we have fire prevention and education classes for adults and students that have been very effective in keeping fire injuries and deaths at a minimum. Our contacts include fire house visits as well classroom instructions so we average almost 200 fire safety classes annually.

 

October 9, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. multiple agencies will host a Home Fire Safety & Prevention Expo at Madison Square Mall.

 

October 7 -13, 2007, the Bureau of Fire Prevention will have displays, Fire Prevention material and Fire Safety films. These events will be held at Parkway Place Mall from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. each day.
