Three Are Promoted at Huntsville Fire & Rescue

 

Huntsville, Alabama (May 11, 2007) Huntsville Fire and Rescue Chief Danny Loggins announced today the promotions of three individuals within the Department. Kyle Scott Pettitt has been promoted from Captain to District Chief. Kyle who has been with the Department since 1989 and will be responsible for the East District which includes downtown Huntsville, Monte Sano Mountain and the Hampton Cove area. He joins 11 other District Chiefs who are responsible for emergency response and fire suppression.

 

Meanwhile, two other individuals have been promoted to the Bureau of Fire Prevention. Daniel Wilkerson and Michael Jaco both joined the Department in June 2001. They have been promoted to Fire Prevention/Investigations Officers. They will be responsible for inspections, fire safety and conduct fire investigations. Loggins said the promotions are effective immediately.
