Huntsville, Alabama (September 13, 2007) Huntsville Fire and Rescue Chief Danny Loggins will recognize four people who saved the lives of 3 children last month. Loggins said on August 14, 2007, Huntsville fire received a call at 9:46 a.m. at 1422 McCrary Street. There were three children inside the home at the time of the call. An adult was able to escape, but he was unable to get the children out of the home due to flames and heavy smoke. Several people at a neighbor’s home made entry and got the children out safely.

Chief Loggins will award the Life Saving Certificate to Sherman Campbell, Paul Bradford, Joe Vaughn and Willie E. Parker. Loggins’ added that due to the adults’ quick thinking, heroism and bravery, the children are safe and alive today.
