Lead	Ruchi Singhal		Green 13 Role Ruchi Singal serves on Mayor Battle’s Green 13 Council. Her role as the Energy Sub-Team Lead is to develop recommendations for the Green 13 Council in the areas of Energy generation/usage and transportation. Work History/Profession Ruchi Gupta Singhal is the Director of Renewable Energy Outreach (REO) a program which is geared towards helping renewable energy entrepreneurs succeed by writing grants and providing sources for technical and financial assistance. She has served as North Carolina’s Solar Center Transportation Program Coordinator where she was involved in evaluating emission benefits from alternative transportation projects as well as administering grants for those projects. Background Information Graduate of Georgia Tech – Chemical Engineering. She holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from NC State University. She also participated in the NC Solar Center/NC State Renewable Energy Diploma Series for which she has received a certificate. She is married and has one son.
Report Integrator	Sally Parsons		Green 13 Role Sally Parsons serves on Mayor Battle’s Green 13 Council on Economic Sustainability. Sally is a member of the Energy Sub-Team, where she helps develop recommendations for the Green 13 Council in the areas of Energy generation/usage and transportation. Work History/Profession Ms. Parsons is Booz Allen Hamilton's Civil Market lead in the Huntsville area. This market includes energy, environment, and transportation.  She also currently serves as a consultant on the Energy Engineering Analysis Program for the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville.  Prior to joining Booz Allen, Ms. Parsons served on the US Army Corps of Engineers Centers of Standardization Management Board where she was responsible for ensuring newly constructed standardized Army facilities met LEED silver requirements.  She also had 5 years’ experience as a project and program manager for an Army-wide energy savings program by which private sector energy service companies financed, installed and maintained new energy efficient equipment in facilities at no up-front cost to the government.  The energy service companies are paid back over time from the resulting energy dollars saved. Background Information Graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville – Mechanical Engineering. She is married and has four sons.
	Mike Dalen		Green 13 Role Mike Dalen serves on the Mayor Battle’s Green 13 Council on Economic Sustainability. Mike is a member of the Energy Team. Work History/Profession Mike served on TVA’s Energy Futures Task Force Land Trust of Huntsville & North Alabama – Board Chairman twice. He is the president and vice president of the Alabama Sierra Club, botanical Garden volunteer He also designed & built super-energy-efficient home in 1994. Background Information Mike has lived in the Huntsville area since 1985 with his wife Eileen. He has held executive positions at several hi tech companies, including Intergraph.
	Cole Walker		Green 13 Role Energy Team Member Work History/Profession Investments in biodiesel fuel companies; Co-founder of renewable energy company; National USGBC; Charter member and current Treasurer of USGBC-North Alabama Branch Background Information Cole has a Master’s of Science in Instructional Technology from Georgia State University and Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama. He is a Partner in United Properties, a company that develops, owns and manages medical and professional offices as well as retail centers. His work and awards while residing in Atlanta included the founding of Atlanta New Century School, Volunteer of the Year, Legend of Fairlie Poplar, Rising Star of Atlanta, and Dossier magazine’s Atlanta Hall of Fame, plus named a mover and shaker in the field of education. After relocating to Huntsville, Mr. Walker has been instrumental in the founding of the North Alabama Chapter of the USGBC and currently serves as Treasurer.
