Green 13 Role Dr. Kathleen Felker serves on Mayor Battle’s Green 13 Council on Economic Sustainability. She is a member of the Green Industrial Initiatives and Team Leader for Natural Resources.
Work History/Profession
Radiologist, Senior Partner Radiology of Huntsville. In that capacity Chairman of Mammography Committee, Vice Chairman, Finance Committee, Physician Member Corporate Compliance Committee, Medical Assurance Advisory Board, various professional organizations, cancer prevention advocate. Admissions Committee member UABSOM, research and teaching faculty, UABSOM. Former Commissioner Environmental Management Commission as appointed by the Governor; served as Vice Chairman, lead Commission to improve water quality standards for the state, influential in the passage of Legislation to provide a formidable recycling program for the state, worked with US EPA officials to improve water quality standards for the nation, lead ADEM to investigate quarry permitting and effect of quarries on surrounding communities. Green 13 Role Dawn C. Stanley serves on the Natural Resources Committee of the Green 13 Council. This committee focuses on land, air and water resources.
Work History/Profession
Dawn C. Stanley is the Deputy Chief Engineer for the Ares I-X Flight Test Vehicle at NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center. Her responsibilities include assuring the technical integrity of the Ares I-X Flight Test Vehicle across a multi-center mission team. She has supported various programs/projects/organizations including the following: Environmental Engineering Office, Constellation, Space Shuttle, International Space Station, X-33, Chandra, Tether, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and numerous payloads.
Background Information
Graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering and minor in Biological Sciences. She completed the University of North Carolina Executive Development Institute. She also is a trained ISO 14001 auditor at Marshall Space Flight Center. She is married and has two sons and one daughter.

Gregory Cox serves as a member of Mayor Battle’s Green 13 Council and sits on the Natural Environment Sub-Team, the Education Sub-Team and the Data Benchmarking Sub-Team. His role on these Sub-Team are to develop recommendations in the areas of assessment and preservation of the natural environment, formal and informal education actions and to collect the necessary datasets required for the Green 13 Council to formulate its recommendations to Mayor Battle.

Gregory Cox is CEO and Principal of Gregory Cox & Associates, LLC, an environmental sustainability-focused science and technology consultancy. He provides businesses technical and management support services aimed toward developing and implementing sustainable business practices and technological innovation. Mr. Cox also has an extensive background in the development, training and management of environmental systems.
Background Information
Mr. Cox is a 1983 graduate of UAHuntsville in Biology and Chemistry. He received a Master Degree in Environmental Biology from the UAHuntsville in 1989. He is married and has three children. His interests include cycling, fly-fishing, vintage air-cooled Volkswagens and the culture and history of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Work History/Profession
Robin has worked in academia and non-profit management as a Research Information Scientist at UAHuntsville’s National Space Science and Technology Center and also as Executive Director of the Alabama Mathematics, Science and Technology Education Coalition. She likes to build, evaluate and administer programs that benefit the Earth and sustain its inhabitants. As Chief Operating Officer of Gregory Cox & Associates, LLC she continues to refine what it means to be operating as a small Green business. She believes her unique expertise allows her to help people and businesses reconnect to their sense of place in the natural world.
Background Information
Robin D. Cox received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Florida in 1989 and her Ph.D. in Underwater Archaeology and Fluvial Geomorphology from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland in 1995. She refined a methodology for studying and understanding pre-historic (over the past 20,000 years) human interactions in river and coastal environments. Robin also enjoys yoga, traveling and keeping fit with her family and pets.
