Green 13 Role
Mr. Pennywell is a Chair of Mayor Battle’s Green 13 Council on Economic Sustainability. His role as Chairman is to lead the Council to in the development of a Economic Sustainability Report Card for Huntsville’s Green Future, and an initial report on how Huntsville’s City Government can ‘Lead the Nation in Green Sustainable Initiatives’. Mr. Pennywell is very experienced developing achievable solutions to complex problems and is recognized for his abilities to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds to forge sustainable solutions.  His deep consulting skills (Communications, Technology) aid the success of the Mayor Battle’s Green 13 Council.

 Work History/Profession
1986 Graduate of Texas A&M University 2008 Graduate of Darden’s School of Business Executive Education Program.  Eight year US Army Aviator (Blackhawk’s) with Company Commanded experience in the 82nd Airborne Division. Business and Strategy consultant in the voice/data telecommunication’s industry working for companies such as MCI Telecommunications, Ernst & Young Management Consulting and Booz Allen Hamilton. Currently, Mr. Pennywell works for Magnacom Inc and supports the Missile Defense Agency.  Mr. Pennywell’s consulting background has afforded him extensive opportunity to address large scale problems of Commercial, Civil and Government entities such as the IRS, US Army, IBM, Global One Retevision.  

 Background Information
Co-Founder of Falcon List, Inc – An Employee Recognition Company President of Highland Lakes Home Owners Association Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc – Delta Theta Lambda Chapter Makes his home in Madison where he is married with four children.

The Green 13 Council was commissioned on May 7th, 2009 at Huntsville City Hall Main Auditorium and for the next year will be working on developing an ambitious effort to put City Government on the Path to leave a legacy for future generations of Huntsville Citizens and Americans across the country.
