Welcome to the City of Huntsville’s special web page just for kids! I’m so glad you are visiting the page and want to learn more about city government.

I am very excited about Huntsville and all the good things that are happening here. More people are moving to our town and finding jobs and houses in the area. And when more people live here, the city has the opportunity to do really positive things like building parks and roads.

I hope that when you read this page, you will learn a lot of new things about all that your city government does. We are responsible for many different programs like the Police and Fire departments, Municipal Court, Animal Services, and Operation Green Team, just to name a few.

I am very proud that I live in a city like Huntsville that has so many good things going on, and I hope you are proud, too!
