Mayor Tommy Battle's statement on UAHuntsville shooting

HUNTSVILLE, AL (February 12, 2010) - Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle issued this statement after the deadly shootings at UAHuntsville:
"It is a sad day for the City of Huntsville and the UAHuntsville family. This unfortunate tragedy reminds us how fragile life is. I've instructed my administration to provide any assistance needed to UAHuntsville President David Williams and his staff.
I also want to recognize the heroic efforts of our local law enforcement agencies and their quick response to this situation.
We share our thoughts and prayers with the families of the victims. May God bless them and comfort them in this time of grief."
