The goal of the Parking Division is to provide an adequate parking service by increasing the supply of available parking spaces, enforcement of parking ordinances and maintenance of parking facilities (garages) and equipment, and event parking.

EVENT PARKING:
Rate is $5.00 per event
Garage Rates
$ 0.50 per hour / maximum of $ 4.00.
Central City Garage Evening Rate
(Clinton Avenue) $2 from 6 pm until 6 am (Event Rate applies for major events)
Monthly rate
$ 48.00 at garages located downtown.
Meter Rates
$0.50 per hour

HANDICAP ENFORCEMENT

The City of Huntsville in conjunction with the Advisory Commission on Accessibility locates and enforces Handicap Parking on a city wide basis. Fines for illegally parking in a Handicap space are progressive -
1st offense $ 50.00; 2nd offense $ 100.00; and 3rd offense $ 500.00.

METERS

All parking meters are enforced Mon thru Fri 8 AM - 5 PM.
The rate is $ 0.50 per hour.
Meters are not enforced on City of Huntsville's recognized holidays.
