Suspect in Bank Robbery Turns Himself into Police

 

Huntsville, Alabama (March 12, 2007) Huntsville Police say the man who allegedly robbed a Huntsville bank on Saturday turned himself in on Sunday night. North Precinct Investigator Chris Hines said 54-year-old William Johnston III of Huntsville was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail Sunday night. He is charged with Robbery 1st Degree. Johnston allegedly gave a note to a bank teller demanding $3,000. He then left the Wachovia bank located at 2525 North Memorial Parkway with an unknown amount of cash.
