Huntsville Police Charge Suspect In Sixty-five Burglaries

 

Huntsville, Alabama (March 13, 2007) Thirty-five-year old Cedrick Lamon Shine of New Market was loading copper into a gray Honda Accord about 12:13 Monday afternoon, when West Precinct Officers Sonny Sanders and Jon Jeffreys spotted him around an air conditioner of a vacant home. Upon further investigation they determined that he was stealing copper from the air conditioner.

 

After taking him in for questioning at the West Precinct, Investigator Jerry Trew determined that Shine was responsible for approximately 65 similar burglaries/thefts to homes and businesses over the past six months. He’s been charged with Possession of Burglar’s Tools and Burglary 3^rd. The investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed. He was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail.
