STAC Agents Arrests Conclude Three Month Investigation

 

Huntsville, Alabama (March 16, 2007) Agents of the Madison-Morgan County Strategic Counterdrug Team (STAC Team) concluded a three month investigation relating to the importation of marijuana into the Huntsville/Madison County from Texas.  Mark Timothy Clark, age 28 of Harvest, and Phillip Lee Collins, age 23 of Huntsville, were both charged with Trafficking in Cannabis. Both were arrested on Laurelwood Lane after being in possession of ten pounds of marijuana that had been delivered by a parcel service. In addition, ten more pounds of marijuana was seized from a public storage facility. The marijuana had been shipped from a Texas location. The investigation was initiated after the STAC Team drug interdiction officer seized twenty pounds of marijuana that had been shipped to Huntsville from Texas in January of this year.
