Huntsville Police Arrest Man For Two Separate Robberies

 

Huntsville, Alabama (April 12, 2007) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s West Precinct have charged a Huntsville man in one robbery and closed a case in another incident. Investigator Barry Bailes located 22-year-old Justin Devon Rogers last night and charged him with one count of Robbery 2nd Degree. He was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail.

 

Police Spokesman Wendell Johnson said Rogers allegedly robbed a man on about April 10th in the 4100 block of Newson Road. The suspect fled in a white Chevrolet Corsica. The victim didn’t report the robbery until April 11th. Thursday, April 11th another victim said he was robbed about 4:00 p.m. in the 4100 block of Penny Street. The suspect also fled in a white Chevrolet Corsica. Rogers was charged with the Penny Street robbery and the Newsom Road case was closed as a result of his arrest.
