Huntsville Police Search For Gunman, Another in Custody

 

Huntsville, Alabama (May 11, 2007) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s West Precinct have arrested 45-year-old Wade Anthony Burrell and charged him with Burglary First Degree. Burrell faces additional drug and weapons charges. Investigators are still looking for 27-year-old Cronso Hewlett who is also charged with Burglary First Degree. According to police spokesman Wendell Johnson, the two men allegedly armed with guns forced their way into a home at 202 Binford Drive about 1:45 Thursday morning looking for someone. When they didn’t find the person they shot up the house, however, no one was injured. If anyone has information concerning Hewlett, they should contact Investigator Jerry Trew at 722-7100.
