Huntsville Police Make Arrests in Multiple Robberies

 

Huntsville, Alabama (June 6, 2007) Huntsville Police have arrested two males last night in connection with three robberies that occurred in the South Precinct. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said information was obtained when Decatur Police released information to the news media. A tip led to the suspects being arrested.

 

Johnson said 29-year-old Roberto Carlos Talabera and 25-year-old Edwin Samuel Alvarado of Huntsville have been booked into the Madison County Metro jail and charged with three counts of Robbery 1^st Degree. The three robberies occurred in May of 2007. The first at the Minute Man Store located at 5004 Whitesburg Drive, the Hi-Tech Fuel, 8000 South Parkway, and the Circle C located at 7546 South Parkway. Johnson said other charges are pending in the West Precinct and the City of Decatur. These individuals may be responsible for at least 6 robberies over the past few months
