West Precinct Investigators Charge Three from Weekend Fight

 

Huntsville, Alabama (June 6, 2007) Three men have been charged with Assault following a fight that occurred last Saturday at 3209 Joslin Street. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said 39-year-old Patrick Tordt has been charged with Assault 1^st Degree and 30-year-old Wyatt Keefer has been charged with Assault 2^nd Degree. Both men have been booked into the Madison County Metro Jail. Twenty-eight-year-old Brian Hoffman remains at a local hospital recovering from stab wounds.

 

According to West Precinct Investigator Tim Patrick, Hoffman is expected to be charged with Assault 2^nd Degree when he is released from the hospital. He said, “Based upon statements, it was determined that all parties involved in the fight had a long standing feud, which eventually escalated into a physical confrontation with the men arming themselves with various forms of lethal weapons.”
