New Hope Man Charged with Attempted Murder Following Wreck

 

Huntsville, Alabama (June 19, 2007) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s Major Crimes unit have charged Dennis Alexander, age 20 with Attempted Murder. He allegedly ran into another vehicle trying to kill his ex-wife. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said Alexander was arguing with his ex-wife, twenty-year-old Auburn Moore when he was eastbound on I-565. He became angry and intentionally veered the vehicle into westbound traffic and struck another vehicle. All parties were transported to Huntsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Alexander was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail. The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. Monday at I-565 at Zierdt Road.
