Police Bust Business Owner Operating Escort Service

 

Huntsville, Alabama (June 22, 2007) On June 15, 2007, Agents of the Madison-Morgan County STAC Team executed a search warrant at 302 Adrian Drive following a three-month long investigation. According to STAC Commander, Sgt. Gerry Norris, they recovered evidence of a prostitution ring operating in North Alabama. Agents arrested Christy Ann Thompson, age 30, and charged her with Promoting Prostitution 2^nd Degree a felony. Norris said Thompson was operating an escort service called Barbee’s in Huntsville and Decatur. She was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail and released on $5,000 bond. The investigation into escort services is ongoing.
