Sixteen Charged with Illegal Sale of Alcohol to Minors

 

Huntsville, Alabama (August 28, 2007) Huntsville Police conducted a sting over the weekend, targeting area businesses selling alcohol to minors. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said the following people were charged with Selling Alcohol to a Minor, a misdemeanor.

 

1.      Nazisn Sayani, age 36, K&N Fuels, 513 Drake Avenue

2.      Elizabeth Francis, age 28, and John Freeman, age 38, Tobacco Express, 2100 B Drake Avenue

3.      Rachel Ariel Barham, age 23, bartender at Rounders, 117 A Jordan Lane.

4.      Jamie Lacey Wynn, age 29, Jessica Taylor, age 25, Cortni Lloyd, age 25, and Jennifer Taylor, age 27, all bartenders at Sammy T’s, 116 Washington Street.

5.      Saleh Saleh, age 35, John’s Shop EZY, 4901 Meridian Street.

6.      Ramzi Muthanna, age 23, E-Z Mart, 4001 Pulaski Pike.   

7.      Joy Paul, 31-years-old, Chevron, 2605 University Drive.

8.      Hershad Patel, age 53, Papa Jacks, 3318 Bob Wallace.

9.      Larry Edwin York, age 47, Conoco 2100 A Drake Avenue.

10.  Lorrie Anne Crutcher, age 48, C&S Fuels, 3108 Patton Road. 

11.  El Houssine Chiguer, age 32, Fuel King, 619 Oakwood Avenue.

12.  Sangireddy Sasikiran, age 27, 611 Hwy 72 East.

         

There were 31 total businesses checked, with twelve of these selling alcohol to underage buyers, resulting in a total of 16 arrests with others pending.
