Second Arrest Made in Store Clerk Murder/Robbery

 

Huntsville, Alabama (September 20, 1007) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit have made another arrest in the March 11th robbery and murder of  Conoco store clerk, Melvin Frazier Lovette, Jr.  The store is located at 2100-A Drake Avenue.

 

Spokesman Wendell Johnson said 17-year-old Jarrad S. Pearsall, of 3212 Deerfield Road in Huntsville was arrested Wednesday afternoon and booked into the Madison County Metro Jail without bond. He is charged with Capital Murder. Johnson said last week, Investigators charged James A. Williams, 18, with Capital Murder in connection with the case. No other arrests are expected.
