Huntsville, Alabama (October 3, 2007) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit have charged a 36-year-old man for seriously injuring his father during a violent argument and fight. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said 65-year-old Barney Patrick is in the Huntsville Hospital suffering from multiple stab wounds. His condition is not life threatening. Police found the elderly Patrick lying on the floor at his apartment in the 1100 block of Old Monrovia Road about 8:00 o’clock last night.

 

His son, Malcom Patrick was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence Assault 1^st degree. He was booked into the Madison County Metro Jail. Investigators did not release a motive for the assault at this time.
