HPD Arrest Suspect for Murder

 

                     Huntsville, Alabama (December, 2, 2008) Shortly after midnight, Major Crimes Unit of the Huntsville Police Department responded to a shooting at 3226 Westheimer Drive Apt.1. The investigation revealed that Quinton Hammonds, 26 years-of-age, of Huntsville, had been fatally shot. Another subject involved in the incident, Christopher McCrary, 23 years-of-age, of Huntsville was transported to Huntsville Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. Investigators have charged Trinyell Coats, 24 years-of age, of Huntsville with Murder. Coats is currently in the Metro Jail awaiting bond.
