Huntsville Police Arrest Man Responsible for Multiple Burglaries

 

Huntsville, Alabama (January 9, 2008) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s West Precinct have charged a man with 6 commercial burglaries but they may clear up to forty cases in the ongoing investigation. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said on Monday, Investigators charged Michael Vincent Holley, age 27, with six commercial burglaries overnight Sunday. Holley, a resident of Madison is charged with the following burglaries;

Colors Fine Arts Center                            7185 Suite J, Hwy 72 West

Triad Martial Arts                                     7185, Suite H, Hwy 72 West

Diversified Construction                            4717 University Drive

Madison CO. Mental Retardation Board   4717 University Drive

 

Johnson said Holley was identified by pawn tickets, physical evidence left at the scenes, and field interrogation reports that documented him prowling around businesses late at night. He is currently in the Madison County Metro Jail awaiting bond on six charges of Burglary 3^rd degree. The investigation is ongoing and Huntsville Police expect to clear up to 40 plus commercial burglaries along the West University Drive area.
