South Precinct Police Charge Two Suspects in Armed Robbery

Huntsville, Alabama (January 9, 2008) Two men are in the Madison County Metro Jail today following an armed robbery Tuesday night. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said a man was entering his vehicle at Governors Drive and Memorial Parkway when two men confronted him with a hand gun and demanded money. After giving the suspects his money, he ran locking his vehicle with the remote control in the process. Witnesses ran after the men, contacted the Police on cell phone, and gave a description of the suspects who were arrested at 915 Monroe Street.

Johnson said 21-year-old Mykel Shawn Milan of 2403 Suzanne Terrace, NW and 20-year-old Labi Townsend  of 400 Holmes Avenue were arrested and charged with Robbery 1^st degree.
