Woman Busted with Meth Lab in Huntsville Hotel

 

Huntsville, Alabama (March 18, 2008) About 2:30 this morning a Huntsville Police Officer on routine patrol discovered a working meth lab after checking on a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of The La Quinta hotel at 3141 University Drive. Officer Blake Dean spotted a 1998 Ford Taurus with blacked out windows. Spokesman Wendell Johnson said after Dean discovered some meth inside the vehicle where Cathy Ann Moore, age 31, was acting nervous, he also found a working meth lab inside room 159.  The door was open and there was a strong smell of chemicals coming from the room.

 

Moore, who gave her home address in Fayetteville, Tennessee, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. She was booked in the Madison County Metro Jail on 1.5 million-dollar bond.
