Huntsville Police Investigate Shooting, Suspect on Loose 

November 2, 2005 (Huntsville, Alabama) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s North Precinct are looking for 22-year-old Shawn Edward Baker for Attempted Murder, First Degree Robbery and First Degree Burglary. Baker allegedly shot into a house on Mt Vernon two nights ago. He is considered armed and dangerous. When police served a search warrant at his home earlier this week, they discovered weapons and a bulletproof vest. Baker was recently released from prison and he is in violation of his parole. If anyone has information concerning Baker, they should contact Investigators Jerry Trew or Ed Smith at 722-7100.

 Investigators have already charged one suspect in connection with the case. Twenty-five year-old Shelby Tyrone Hambrick has been booked into the Madison County metro jail on First Degree Robbery.
