HPD & Madison County Sheriff’s Department Clear 8 Robberies
Huntsville, Alabama (November 03, 2006) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s West Precinct and the Madison County Sheriff’s Department have cleared at least 8 robberies with the arrests of 4 people. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said 3 teenagers and a juvenile have been charged with Robbery 1st Degree. The 4 were charged with the assistance of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, who apprehended them after a convenience store robbery in Meridianville earlier this week. Johnson said the four individuals are juveniles, however 3 are being charged as adults due to the use of a gun when the crimes were committed. Johnson said because the case is ongoing, Investigators did not want to release the locations of the robberies at this time. The following have been charged with Robbery 1st Degree and booked into the Madison County Metro Jail. The 15 year-old is in the D Home
