Mall Robbery Suspect Sought by Huntsville Police

 

Huntsville, Alabama (November 7, 2006) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department’s South Precinct are looking for the man who allegedly stabbed a Huntsville woman Saturday night during an attempted robbery. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said a white male stabbed the woman in the parking lot of the Parkway Place Mall about 8:40 p.m., after he asked her to hand over her purse.

 

He is described as a white male in his late 40’s – early 50’s. He’s about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180-200 pounds with greasy salt and pepper hair and a two or 3 day beard growth. He was wearing blue pants and a jacket. His vehicle was parked on the east side of the mall near the rear entrance. Police believe he was driving a dark colored SUV or pick-up with a camper shell. The incident occurred at the mall between 8:40 – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4^th.
