Huntsville Police Arrest Murder Suspect 

November 14, 2005 (Huntsville, Alabama) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Major Crimes Unit have charged 26-year-old Steven Larvern Leamon with the murder of Christopher Dewayne Griffin.  Griffin was shot Friday night, arrived at Huntsville Hospital by private vehicle and died several minutes later.

 Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said Investigators thought the shooting first occurred on Julia Street, but determined later that the shooting actually took place at 2716 Oakwood Road. Leamon was arrested and booked into the Madison County Metro Jail this afternoon. Investigators have not revealed a motive for the murder
