Task Force Arrest Twenty-three for DUI 

Huntsville, Alabama (January 3, 2006) The Huntsville Police Department’s DUI Task Force made 23 arrests over the New Years Eve weekend. Sgt Juan Joyner, supervisor said the checkpoints were set up from Friday, December 30^th to Sunday, January 1^st. Two of the arrests were felonies (Previous DUI arrests), and two were under the age of 21. One year ago the Task Force made 17 DUI arrests during the New Years Eve weekend. There were a total of 127 citations issued over the weekend.
