White Male Sought in Store Robberies and an Assault

Huntsville, Alabama (January 6, 2006) Investigators with the Huntsville Police Department are attempting to identify a white male who may be responsible for three separate incidents involving a possible box cutter.

 Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said 46-year-old Mi Suk Yi Choe was working at JC’s Beauty Supply 2701 Patton Road Thursday afternoon, a white male was seen leaving the building, the victim was then located with a cut to her throat. She was transported to Huntsville Hospital with serious injuries. Investigators have not determined a motive. Its unknown if it was an assault or robbery.

 About 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Police responded to a robbery at CD Exchange located at 2806 D South Memorial Parkway. Again, a white male armed with a box cutter, held it to a female’s throat then forced the clerk to get money from the cash register. He escaped with an unknown amount of money.

 Johnson said over the weekend, a white male with a similar description to the previous cases entered the Five Points Beverage store at 805 Wellman Ave and robbed the store clerk with a box cutter. The suspect escaped with an undetermined amount of money.
