Slain Huntsville Police Officer Honored in Montgomery Today

Huntsville, Alabama (March 28, 2006) The Alabama Legislature will honor Huntsville Police Officer Daniel Golden this afternoon on the Senate floor at 2:00. p.m. Golden, who was killed in the line of duty last August, was nominated by our Department for the Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement Officers.  The medal will be presented to Donnesa Golden (widow), and to Mr. And Mrs. Golden (parents).
