Huntsville Police Announce Street Closings for Whistle Stop
 

Huntsville, Alabama (May 5, 2006) Huntsville Police will begin closing several streets on Friday for this weekend’s Whistle Stop at the Huntsville Depot.

Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said Monroe Street is closed from Church Street to Jefferson. Spragins Street is closed from Holmes to Monroe. The right turn lane to turn west on Monroe is closed from Washington --- through traffic on Washington continues.

Northbound Church Street from Monroe to the railroad tracks is coned off to limit traffic to a single lane. Johnson said normal traffic flow would resume by noon on Sunday, May 7, 2006.
