Seven Women Arrested in West Huntsville Prostitution Detail

Huntsville, Alabama (June 9, 2006) Huntsville Police Officers with the West Precinct conducted an undercover prostitution detail that led to seven arrests. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said the arrests were made in the Lowe Mill Village community on Thursday between the hours of 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The following women were booked in the Madison County Metro Jail.

1.      Amy Lee Minniefield (DOB 3/23/62) charged with Soliciting Prostitution and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

2.      Tamekia Lashawn Fortune (DOB 4/12/77 charged with Soliciting Prostitution and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

3.     Sherry Lynn Britt (DOB 5/30/62) charged with Loitering (for the purpose of Prostitution and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

4.      Melissa Ann Davis (DOB 1/19/73) charged with Soliciting Prostitution.

5.      Teresa Denise Peacock Kirton (DOB 2/24/66) charged with Soliciting Prostitution and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

6.      Mary Elizabeth Cothran (DOB 10/5/64) charged with Soliciting Prostitution.

7.      Mildred Gordon (DOB 12/14/74) charged with Soliciting Prostitution and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
