Thirty Motorists Arrested for DUI Over Labor Day Weekend

 

Huntsville, Alabama (September 5, 2006) The Huntsville Police Department’s DUI Task Force and Primary Services Officers made 30 DUI arrests and issued 129 citations over the holidays. (Two were felonies and two were under the age of 21.) Sgt. Juan Joyner said they also made 3 drug arrests and impounded 24 vehicles from Friday night through Labor Day. Last year during Labor Day, the Department charged 28 motorists with Driving Under the Influence.
