Twenty-eight People Charged With DUI Over Weekend

 

Huntsville, Alabama (September 8, 2005) During the Labor Day weekend from September 2nd – September 5th   2005, twenty-eight people were charged with DUI. Of that number 4 arrests were under the age of 21-year-old. 

Sgt. Juan Joyner, DUI Task Force Supervisor, said through the use of checkpoints and roving patrols from Precincts, the Department issued 170 citations for speeding, drivers license violations, expired tags and failure to provide proof of insurance.
