STAC Team Confiscates Over $100,000 in Cocaine
Huntsville, Alabama (September 16, 2005) A large quantity of Cocaine (1 ½ Kilos) worth $114,000 on the streets is now off the streets as a result of a month long investigation by the Madison-Morgan County STAC Team and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. Agents served search warrants at 3302 Clifford Road and 4062 Brasewood Drive both in Huntsville to make a significant dent in cocaine trafficking in North Alabama. Numerous firearms and a large quantity of cash were also confiscated.
STAC Team Commander Gerry Norris said they charged Sedrick Lamont Coleman (DOB 10-18-82) and Jermaine Lavar Parker (DOB 12-23-78) and charged them with Trafficking in Cocaine. Both men are being held in the Madison County Jail on a bond of $500,000. As a result of this case, they will be prosecuted in the Federal court system for firearm violations under a program designed to combat gun violence.
