Six Charged With Soliciting Prostitution 

Huntsville, Alabama (October 6, 2005) Huntsville Police Officers at the West Precinct targeted prostitutes in the Governors Drive and Lowe Mill area. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said the arrests took place early this morning by undercover police officers. In most of the cases, the women allegedly flagged the officers down and made  propositions to perform acts in exchange for money.

1.     22-year-old Shamekia Denise Strickland, 2212 Boardman Street, charged with Soliciting Prostitution.

2.     30-year old Charmin Rene Britton, transient, charged with Soliciting Prostitution.

3.     43-year-old Sherry Lynn Britt, 2411 9^th Ave, SW, charged with Soliciting Prostitution.

4.     34-year-old Regina Leigh Dempsey, 4505 Patton Road, charged with Soliciting Prostitution.

5.     34-year-old Tina Michelle Seyer, 304 Triana Blvd, charged with Soliciting Prostitution.

6.     20-year-old Christina Louise Preston, 2021 Seminole Dr, SW, charged with Soliciting Prostitution.
