Huntsville, Alabama (March 31, 2005)
A 72-year-old Huntsville man remains in critical condition at Huntsville Hospital following a March 23”’ Assault and Home Invasion. Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said West Precinct Investigators have charged 3 individuals with Burglary First Degree, Robbery First Degree and Assault First Degree. Johnson said the robbery occurred on Royal Pines Drive, a West Huntsville Apartment.
The elderly victim stated the trio knocked on his door, he opened it and they allegedly assaulted him and ransacked his apartment. Johnson said 22-year-old Julius Antonio Strickland, 21-year-old Urshela Pamela Strickland and a 17-year-old male juvenile have been charged in connection with the case. They remain in the Madison County Metro Jail until bond has been set.
