Huntsville, Alabama (May 31, 2005) The Huntsville Police DUI Task Force along with Police Officers from across the City charged 21 people with DUI over the Memorial Day weekend. At least 48 other citations were issued such as Failure to have Proper Vehicle Registration, Drivers License or Proof of Insurance. Eleven vehicles were impounded and 2 people were arrested and booked on drug charges. The stats were compiled from May 27^th at 5:00 p.m. – May 31^st, at midnight.

Meanwhile the Department continues its “Click It of Ticket” campaign through the first week in June. The statistics from that campaign should be available later next month.
