STAC Team Takes Down Major “ICE” Dealer

 

Huntsville, Alabama (June 30, 2005) On Wednesday, June 29, 2005, Agents with the Madison-Morgan County STAC Team arrested 37-year-old Praxedis Francisco Delgado (AKA Santana) and charged him with Trafficking in Cocaine. Delgado, who had previously been indicted for trafficking large quantities of cocaine into Alabama has now been caught with eight-ounces of high-grade “ICE” methamphetamine, worth a street value of $38-thousand-dollars.

 

STAC Team Commander Gerry Norris said they had been investigating Delgado for the past two years for allegedly dealing in Madison, Morgan, Limestone and Jackson Counties. The “ICE” was recovered at Delgado’s new residence in Jackson County.

He was wearing a bulletproof vest and had a Mac-11 pistol. Delgado is being held in the Madison County Metro Jail pending a hearing with a federal judge.
