Feb. 7th Privet Round Up and Nite Ecohike (RU at 1 p.m. Ecohike at 6 p.m.)
Feb. 21 Privet Round Up (1 p.m.)
March 3rd: Event with children volunteering for trail work. Weenie Roast
March 7th: Privet Round Up and Bonfire (RU at 1 p.m. bonfire and weenie roast at 4 p.m.
March 20-22. The 2009 Watershed Leadership Conference will be held at Camp McDowell, bordering the Bankhead National Forest and Sipsey Wilderness.
March 28th: Privet Round Up at 9 a.m. and Nite Ecohike at 7 p.m.
April 18th: Earth Day (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
May 2nd Get that Bloomin' Privet Round Up at 10 am (the last until fall).
May 9th Madison City Clean the Green
June 6th: American Rivers Clean Up on the Flint at 9 a.m.
June 13th: Nite Ecohike at 7 p.m.
July 11th: Nite Ecohike at 7:30 p.m.
August 1st: Solar Eclipse (time TBD)
August 12th: Perseid Meteor Shower (Midnite to 3 a.m.)
September 19th: National Public Lands Day Clean up on the Flint (9 am.)
September 26th: Botanical Gardens Green University (time TBD)
October 11th: Flint River Revival 1- 6 p.m.
October 24th: Fall Color Hike at 1 p.m.
October 31st: HOWL-O-Ween 6:30 to 10 p.m. (Bonfire at 9 p.m.)
November Annual Meeting for Friends of the Preserve and Sanctuary (Time TBD)
December 31st-New Year's Eve Potluck and Bonfire (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
