MILLING AND RESURFACING PROJECTS FOR CITY OF HUNTSVILLE
Weather permitting, the City of Huntsville Public Works Services will begin milling and resurfacing the following streets.

SUBJECT: TEMPORARY LANE & INTERSECTION CLOSURE
Weather permitting, the following lane closures will be occurring on Governors Drive:
Saturday, February 4, 2012 thru Sunday, February 5, 2012
The contractor will be closing one lane of northbound Whitesburg Drive from Longwood Avenue to Governors Drive. Closure is needed to replace curb.
The contractor will be closing the intersection of Longwood Avenue at Governors Drive. Local traffic will need to access Longwood Avenue from California Street during this time. Closure is needed for concrete island work and paving at Governors Drive and Longwood Avenue.

SUBJECT: TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURES-GOVERNORS DRIVE
Weather permitting, the following lane closures will be occurring on Governors Drive:
Thursday, February 2, 2012 and Friday, February 3, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Contractor will be closing one lane of Governors Drive from California Street to Bassett Street. Closure is needed to replace the curb and install pavement.
Saturday, February 4, 2012 and Sunday, February 5, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., left turns from Governors Drive to California Street will be restricted. Two lanes in each direction on Governors Drive will be maintained. Closure is needed to install pavement.

The contractor will be closing one eastbound lane of Governors Drive from California to Bassett. Closure is needed to replace the pavement and curb.

SUBJECT: STREET CLOSURE - MERIDIAN STREET (PRATT AVENUE TO OAKWOOD AVENUE)
Beginning Monday, June 6, 2011, Meridian Street from Pratt Ave. to Oakwood Ave. is will be closed due to the construction of the new bridge in the current construction project. This closure will be into effect until further notice.
All businesses and homes will be accessible from either Oakwood Avenue or Pratt Avenue.
All traffic wanting to access businesses or homes south of the bridge on Meridian will have to use Pratt Ave.; and all traffic wanting to access businesses or homes north of the bridge will have to use Oakwood Ave.
