The Big Cove Area WWTP serves the Big Cove area of Huntsville, in the southeast quarter of Madison County.

The Big Cove Area WWTP was constructed in 1990.

The facility has the capacity to treat 6 million gallons per day (MGD) of Huntsville's wastewater.
